Answered by David Ross. The PSA Puretech engine is a good engine if well maintained, but because it uses a wet cambelt system it is particularly sensitive in respect of engine oil. Inadequate oil changes or using the wrong viscosity of oil can cause the belt to fail, low oil pressure, oil starvation and turbocharger issues.
